Good Bye PDF Print E-mail

It's been a while since I've updated this. It's time to let the site go. I haven't had the time to work on this in a long time and have also moved on to the Android world. My webhost has been gracious and has supplied me with free unlimited bandwidth this whole time so I do want to say a thanks to him.

The site will either be going down completely or the domain will no longer be renewed and the site may live on hidden within another domain.

This is a reminder for everyone to use the bug tracker to report problems with the installer and the kitchen. It's extremely hard to track bugs posted in xda posts or comments here.

Thank you

I just realized that comments are still not working properly. Unfortunately, school and work come first and thus I won't have time to fix this for a while.

In other news: At least one or two of you have been having problems installing the kitchen because your established connection to the server has been too slow or has timed out. Here are the direct links to the files themselves. These do not have an installer and thus are not fully supported. Just make sure that you have everything you needed to run the older kitchens and you'll be fine.

Everyone else, please use the installer. It's the same exact connection but if your connection is too slow, using a download accelerator will give you the ability to pause and resume the download (not really download faster, but at least more reliably) and if your connection is behind a firewall or is REALLY slow, it will prevent the installer's download from timing out.

SuperJustKitchen 0.9 PDF Print E-mail

I apologize for being offline for so long. There was an issue with the domain provider. My gracious host has fixed the problem for us. I want to thank him again for the free service he provides to make this site possible.

Today I have SuperJustKitchen 0.9 ready.

Changelog:

Added Kaiser Support

Switch from osKitchen NewGUI edition to osKitchen Zero. (A complete rewrite of the kitchen to use a single dll instead of a bunch of closed source tools.)

It should work properly with all devices, including the Opal, finally.

A new installer. It's just one small file you download and the installer will give you the option of downloading the files for the kitchen and for each device automatically. The installer will now decompress the files automatically and move them to the required folders automatically.

I also added a script that verifies that you have all the required files, runtimes and frameworks installed. If it detects anything missing, it will auto download whatever is missing and do a silent install of it. This should completely solve any problems people were having while running the kitchen or while cooking.

There will now be a start menu entry.

There is also an uninstaller.

I also updated the WM6.5.x build to 23658.

To Do for v1.0:

Add the option to choose the builds you want to download directly from the installer.

Add more build options.

Move the uninstaller files to a different location.

Keep updating osKitchen files.

Cleanup files that are no longer needed.

Update EXT packages.

Remove useless EXT packages.

Organize EXT packages.

And much more.

I just added Twitter support to the site using the Twitter Status pluging.

http://tomasz-dobrzynski.com/twitter-status-overview

This is a test to see if the plugin works. It should update my twitter with this info.
